Hi, I’m Ashen, a fullstack web developer and graduate of the Fullstack Software Engineering Program at Thinkful. As an avid learner, I love coding because it constantly challenges me to expand my skills and knowledge.
A background in the service and graphic design industries has prepared me in both interpersonal and customer relations, as well as creative problem-solving. My freelance graphic design and web development business has taught me a staggering amount about personal organization and project management, while my experience designing and decorating cakes has made me adept at ingesting a loose idea and formulating that into a finished product.
Currently, I work for Accenture as a software engineer. I've been in an active development roll for two and a half years with them and hope to continue to challenge myself and grow my skill base. Within my role I have suceeded in automating an array of cumbersome manual tasks for a major client that I have been working for to the extent that dozens of man hours per week have been saved. Together my team and I fixed millions of pieces of broken data that have prevented millions of dollars from getting posted to leakage. I also do light data analysis and apply my findings to my development consultation when interfacing with the client.
